Reviews and Ratings
Despite the fact that my room was booked through the conference organizer, I found the hotel to be very nice and clean with an excellent location. However, the rooms were a bit poky and tired, lacking a view. The service was efficient and courteous, although some staff members were rude and unhelpful in specific instances. The hotel's central location was perfect, offering great views of Syntagma Square, the Parliament building, and the Acropolis. The dining experience was a mix – the rooftop restaurant had good food options, but service and food quality were disappointing at times. Overall, the facilities were adequate, with some room for improvement.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The rooms were quiet and pristine thanks to top-notch housekeeping, although Tarzan and Jane seemed to be playing next door at 7.30am every morning. The service was extremely helpful, making it a brilliant visit, especially towards my 2 1/2-year-old son who was treated like a prince. The location couldn't be beat on Syntagma Square, offering stunning views of the Parliament building and the Acropolis. Dining was average with lots of options, and the facilities were great.
The hotel offers lovely, neat rooms with extremely comfy beds. I enjoyed my stay, although free Wi-Fi would have been a welcome addition in this digital age.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of elegance and slight disappointment. The rooms, amenities, and the dining experience offered great views and service, but the emphasis on style seemed at times to overshadow substance.
My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable. The rooms were on the larger size by European standards and had classy furnishings, including a semi-canopied bed. The atmosphere in my room was quiet, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The location is excellent, easy with the metro from the airport, right in the heart of Athens, across from Syntagma Square. The service was amazingly solicitous, and the dining experience was awesome with a wonderful view of the Acropolis.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The room, while lacking a view of the Acropolis, provided a peaceful retreat from the busy square and roads. The suite was spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with modern amenities. The large bathroom with a shower and bath was a nice touch. The view of Syntagma Square from the room was wonderful.
I had a truly amazing stay at Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens. The rooms were immaculate, looking out on the Acropolis on one side and Parliament on the other, furnished with a touch of luxury from a bygone era. While the service was extremely helpful and attentive, the dining experience was nothing short of awesome with a view of the Acropolis. The location is superb, right in the heart of the city center with magnificent views all around.
I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The service was top-notch and the amenities were great. My room on the 7th floor had a nice touch with butler services, and the GB Restaurant upstairs was a real treat. The interior was elegant and up-to-date, all in beautiful marble.
